gown or pajamas?

My belly button incision leaked a LOT. Doctor cleaned it right up, but wiped the mess with the gown and lots of gauze.

Another good reason to use their gown is SNAPS! The shoulders snap off so you can take it off easy with your IV. The nurse helped me with a sponge bath, and helped me change my gown. Snaps made it so easy since we didn't have to mess with the IV.

gown or pajamas?

Hi, after my tah/bso, I wore the hospital gowns - 2 at a time. I wore one facing back and another facing front. I was well covered and had no laundry to wash for a few days As for undies to pull up - didn't wear any for a week or so I didn't want anything on my incision at all for awhile. I guess it differs from person to person and the type of hyst involved.

Best wishes.
