Dry Shampoo

I remember as a child I bought a product called Psssssssst, a "dry" shampoo. I have looked high and low for this or something similar. Anyone have any ideas as to where I ican find some? Or order from Internet?
Many thanks and best wishes to all.

I don't know if PSSSSSSSST is even still made.

Believe it or not, a small amount of baby powder will do the trick as well.
Smells nice too!

To clean my hair.(in case the shower thing doesn't go so great). It really works quite well. I had to use it originally for ear infections that I could not get my ears wet, and my caregiver found the dry shampoo for me.

Does it work on oily hair? I have to wash my hair EVERY day or it looks gross.

I totally looked forward to the hot showers after surgery, hopefully you will be able to also. The first one at the hospital made me a little light headed, so be careful at first.

I don't know about dry shampoo, I have never been able to grasp the concept! I also have heard of people using baby powder, but have never had the courage to try it with my long thick curly hair! What I have used for my grandmother, who is 90 and wheelchair bound is a product I got a Walgreens, called "no rinse shampoo" It comes in a white and blue bottle. You simply squirt it on your hair until it is wet, massage your scalp well and then towel dry. I have to say that it works pretty good! Good Luck! s

Yep, I have pretty oily hair, it really needs to be washed everyday. I have used my favorite powder when I need a quick cleanup. I use a puff to apply a little to the oiliest areas and then brush it out. Works real good!

I would so go for the shower. It felt great. They just gave me a little "bench" to sit on. I mainly just sat for the shower, which helps when your feeling rather shaky. I felt so much better after. The first day after surgery I did just take a Sponge bath. Wasnt quite up to the shower yet.
