They cancelled my surgery, I can't stop crying

I just got my period today, and because they had to do some sort of test today for my problem with incontinence, they are unable to do this test with my period. The surgery is no problem but to get the results of the incontinence situation they have to do that test when you are not on your period. They are now telling me they are going to try for January 19th, however if not I'll be rescheduled for February 14(nobody wants to go in on that day), heck I have been married 26 years, Valentines Day is not that big of a deal to me...I can't wait that long. I have gone through so much this week preparing, I am falling apart. Not to mention I have been out of work since Dec 28, 2005, I am so upset........I am so so tired of being in bed, and waiting I thought this was all going to be over Friday....
Where do I go from here........

Hang in there Mary! Try and calm down a little and know that Jan 19th isn't that far away. We are all in this together and will get through it all!!

Well, that stinks, but I am sure it will work out, hopefully they will stick with the 19th and get it overwith!!!! I will be thinking of you!!!!!

My surgery is the 19th also. And it isn't that far away! I had to wait for my bladder check also. Some scheduling with the doctor's-or I could of had mine done over our Christmas break. Then, only to find I didn't need anything done with my bladder. Could of had the surgery anyway. Take care, and know from someone else going in on the 19th-it is coming fast and will be here before we know it! ((HUGS))

My surgery has been postponed indefinitely. At least you have a date, right?

Just keep telling yourself, you can make it. We're all sending you positive vibes that you'll be able to have your surgery on Jan. 19th.

Just keep the philosophy that everything has a reason. I am sorry that you have to wait but it will all work out in the end. Keep your chin up! We are all here for you.
