They cancelled my surgery, I can't stop crying

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time.

Hoping your surgery gets rescheduled soon. I know it must be so difficult -- you are all ready and things change so suddenly.

I am sorry that I wasn't on the site when you started this thread but I want to tell you that I know exactly what you are going through!! I couldn't stop crying either, everyone (but the hystersisters of course) thought that I was crazy to let *a little thing like that* bother me so much. It is not a little thing. It is a big thing. Honey, I am so sorry that anyone else would have to go through this. We want it to be over with so bad. I was even feeling jealous of the other hystersisters that were getting theirs done on the dates that mine was being cancelled. Yes, mine was cancelled three times. A hysterectomy is such a big thing and we take the decision to have it seriously and then we are given a date and we go through so many changes physically and mentally getting ready for that day and then it doesn't happen...all those feelings that we have have to come out some how, then we are given another date...should we allow ourselves to get all worked up again or will the rug be pulled up from under us again. The third time mine was cancelled I cried (bawled like a baby ) to the nurse who told me, she felt so bad but there was nothing that she could do. The dr. felt so bad that the third time he scheduled it he purposely put me only on his schedule so that it would make sure that it happened.
I am not going to tell you not to be upset because it *is* very upsetting. Let me know how it goes and please feel free to pm me if you would like. All I can do is give you a hug and a cyber shoulder to cry on and a lot of understanding of your situation.

Thank you so much for your kind words....Now, I am looking forward to the 19th of January, as opposed to the 14th of February, 8 days to go. I am doing much better today. At least they were able to get me in on the 19th. Everything happens for a reason, maybe the 13th of January just wasn't going to work for me....
