2 good days......5 bad

Just me again, feeling like total crap. This cycle of not feeling well is really getting to me.
My abdomen seems to be growing, I look 7 mths preg. I can see it passed my lg. breasts!!! I haven't gained weight but my hands are swollen and I know I'm starting to retain fluid. Had a few days off from the torture, but now its worse, and my bladder issues are back, can't completely empty it. Is this normal for the rest of you? Theres a constant dull ache in abdomen and back, and my breasts are killing me too. I very rarely had tenderness in them during my period so its really weird to have it now. I'm not sleeping through the night either, waking up with burning sensations.
waaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
I have GERD issues and wondering if this is the cause of my breast pain,, being chest pain? I don't know what the heck is going on, but my joints even hurt especially in my upper torso. I'm going to call the doc, just hate to! Feels like I live there, and right now my dad really needs me in the office because his back is out and he shouldn't be alone.
I'm really frustrated because I had such a great 2 days in a row of feeling good and motivated, was almost totally pleasant to my DH and DD, DS, now back to misery. It just reinstates even more that this surgery is only going to help, just wish it was sooner.

Thanks for giving me a place to vent, let me know if any of you have had this joint pain or upper torso aches.

2 good days......5 bad

My fibroids made me look bloated. I had a different pain weekly. I couldn't sleep at night...from the back pain...the burning sensation.....the urgency to pee. This was all through the month and not just before my period. Then I scheduled my surgery and for 2 weeks I felt pretty good. Instead of my last period lasting 9 days with clots, it only lasted 3...yes 3 (and no clots which I feel blessed because before my surgery they told me I was anemic and if I would have had a normal "bad" period I would have been more anemic...someone was looking out for me...THANKS). Then the last 2 nights before my surgery, the pain came back and I am glad it did 'cause it reminded my why I was having the surgery. My surgery was one week ago and wow do I already feel like the old me...it is wonderful! Hang in there, your time will come. I hope you find the strength to make it through...lean on anyone that will allow it and even those who don't. Enjoy those good days. When the bad come, do whatever it takes to make you feel a little better (hot baths, hot water bottles, eating lots of fruits and vegies helped, etc.)

Wikkedlee:

Sounds like side effects from lupron...fluid retention, joint aches topped the list when I checked out side effects. I didn't have much of a problem my first three weeks of my first shot though this week I've been getting twinges in the joints, especially my shoulders and elbows. If I drink lots of water and walk they seem to abate, but that might be an issue for you and your bladder.

I'm due for another shot this Friday and I'll see if the humming and singing continues...my coworkers and partner are hoping it does.

Keep venting, it helps and there are plenty of us here who understand.
