We're all sisters...

Hello to you,
I may not have the exact same issue as you do, but I have the same surgery date. My surgery is due to large fibroids, inflamed, pressing on nerves and other things--very severe pain. I'm sure we will both be thankful we took this course. For a couple of years I delayed surgery, hoping hormone therapy would help or some miracle, like just waking up one morning normal again. The pain level now puts me at the point of no return. I also fear the unknown, putting my trust in the surgeon but I HAVE to do it. I just wish it was not such an ordeal.
I'm looking forward to The Next 50 Years!

Hello, I feel the same way you do. My surgery is Feb 8th and have never had surgery before. I hope that your surgery is very successful and recovery the same. I have fibroid tumor,w/endo and multi sist on right ovary. The pain is so bad I can't even sleep on my right side and I sleep on our couch sitting up when period arrives. Good luck again, hope everything goes okay.

Good luck ladies. I had a LAVH/LSO and can honestly say the waiting is the worst. This site and the ladies here are a God send. Look at the pre op checkpoints. You will get some great ideas for you recovery. My biggest issue now 2 weeks after surgery is boredome. But I am living with the thought that "boredome will not kill you". I allready feel so much better then I did before surgery. I know you will too.

our problems may not be the same but it looks as though we both chose the same answer. Great minds think alike. This site is starting to help ease my mind a little but iam sure the night of the surgery will be very long Ill think of you and hope for the best. Thanks
