Joining you again w/a second surgery coming up

Hi everyone, I'm back again, lol.

I don't know if I'll be remembered or not, but I had my surgeries lasy April 6th.
6 months later I found (in the shower) that my surgeries had given away. After a trip to the surgeon i discovered that I have a collagen disorder which prevents me from forming scar tissue. Instead of the mesh that was inserted scarring over and adhering to my cervix, it fell away when no scar tissue formed to hold it in place.

So... On February 2nd I need to go in again for invasive video urodynamics tests to see what is up with my bladder, as I'm having problems in that area as well now, and on March 22nd I will travel the 2.5 hrs to Kingston for my surgery.
That was part of my issue lasy April when all this happened. I had to travel to see the surgeon for appts and for surgery, since my problem was fairly severe and she is said to be the best surgeon in the counrty for this surgery. Fun fun!

So.. I don't really have a question, but I am getting a little nervous as it gets near. They will do the surgery again, but will do two different procedures together, in hopes they will hold up. My recovery time will be the same, as will my hospital stay. I'm having more pain this time around, since things are just failing in there... but I am still in good spirits, so I'm doing ok.

Thanks everyone, for your continued support again.
I did update as to my surgeries failing on the post-op board a month or two ago as I found out....
... I'll update again after my testing to report how serious it is and how much more work needs to be done in that area.

thank you all as I join on this side of the support boards again!

I am sorry you are facing surgery again, but now that they know what they are dealing with, then this will help the dr to correct the problem you are having and then you can begin the healing process.

It sounds like you are in good hands and your spirits are up.

You will be in my thoughts in prayers. Please let us know how you do.

Best wishes to you.

I hope they can numb the area first this time, that would be wonderful! Last time around they told me they could not numb for the testing... wow, it was not plesant! lol.
I think it was the worst part of the whole thing, first time with a cathetar and not nice :0)

Thank you for the prayers and support.
I just realized I hadn't updated my profile so it looks like I am having it in April, when in reality that was April of last yr for my first surgery, lol.
Hopefully it will have worked.. sorry for the confusion I caused, lol... brainless day I guess! :0)
