Adhesions on rectum?

Hey my Sisters,
I just wondered is there anyone out there that is experiencing pain in the rectum. I experienced this pain before, and when the Dr. went to do the BSO, he said that I had alot of adhesions and after the surgery I felt fine.
But, now I think they are back, because my booty is hurting again. Sorry to be so technical with the words.
Please if there is anyone else who is experiencing the same thing that I am please share with me.
I am kind of wondering if the adhesions have gotten on my rectum some kind of way.
God Bless Everyone of my Sisters.

Adhesions on rectum?

I am not sure what you are experiencing, but I have
been having pain after my bms, and the pain can be
different any different day, but it is always connected
to, whether or not I have a bm, if I don't have a bm,
I hardly have any pain, but if I have an extreme bm,
I am in pain all day, and my vagina, rectum hurt like
H---. I have been on Pain meds now for that a long time, and I am afraid to have more surgeries for fear
I will have more problems, but I think the position of
the bowel makes the adhesions pull on the nerves connected to the vagina, and rectum, maybe has a
nerve trapped, does your bms affect your pain?

Adhesions on rectum?

No, it does not hurt when I have a BM. Sometimes it hurts before. Like I said, this is the same kind of pain that I had before my BSO and the Dr. said I had adhesions. I'm not saying that it's the same thing, but it sure feels like it.
Thanks for your info SLT.

Adhesions on rectum?

I see your hysterectomy was on March 2003, me also. I am having I would not call it a pain but a burning in my rectum up in side. Before and after a BM some days are better than others. I had a sigmoidoscopy and they said internal hemroids but they should not be causing my discomfort. The Rectal/Colon dr. suggested prolaspe, and wants me to have a defectory (msp) test which if you have heard of it sound totally terrible. I have my yearly exam tomorrow so I am going to ask my GYN if she thinks that is what it is or is it adhesions. I had so much endo when I had my surgery I pray that it did not come back there. The burning is like a yeast infection burning on the outside and up inside. Sorry for the graphic picture. Hope you will fell better soon.

Adhesions on rectum?

I had a defectogram in Dec. of 2004. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. At least I had a sheet over me the whole time. This is how they found out my small rectocele was actually a large non emptying rectocele. They also found out I had a enterocele.
Sometimes my hind end really hurts after I have a bm. At times I have to push on the outside of the rectum to have a bm. I know how painful it can be.

Adhesions on Rectum

I appreciate everyone's info. I've looked at everyone's post reply to my problem, but the only thing is, that I have no problem with bowel movements. It does not hurt to have a BM, and it does not hurt afterwards either, so that is why I think that it is the same problem that I had before when he found adhesions with my BSO.
My question is what will the pelvic sonogram show up?
To make a long story short. I am 37 years old and I am tired of hurting all of the time. I want him to go in and get rid of these suckers. I return back to him on 3-9-06 for the results of my sonogram.
