1 Wk on testosterone, guess what shows up...

A pimple.

Gotcha!

And you thought it was going to be good. My first pimple since my surgery in June. Just thought I'd share. I'll let you know when the rest of the testosterone package shows up.

All the best,

~Lilbelle

1 Wk on testosterone, guess what shows up...

(((Lilbelle))) is it a cystic type, you know, deep under the skin and red and painful, or is it a little whitehead type?

The reason I'm asking is, it's very common to get lots of little whitehead type pimples when you first start testosterone. It's because it changes the consistency of the oil in your pores, which had been solidified when your skin was drier, and a lot of yucky stuff can start coming out. Once the oil is flowing well, those types of pimples go away... it's when you get the cystic type that you really need to watch out.

Good question. It's a regular white head type pimple. Not a deep, sore red cystic type. So let's hope for no cystic type pimples in my pores.

I'd just switched all my make up and lotions to the type for very dry skin. I'll have to go back to my other lotions. But I'm welcoming the return of some oil to my skin.

Thanks,

I've been on a little testosterone 1 week today and no sign of side effects. I, too, was thinking a little more oil in my skin would be welcome. I've occasionally had those cystic type pimples since surgery, possibly 3 or 4 in 2 years so I won't be able to blame them on the testosterone, unless there are many more.

Have you had any other side effects yet?

No I'm not having any other side effects. Praise God!

I am enjoying more energy, more positive outlook, my skin is looking better too. :woot: I am taking the testosterone in the form of drops. They soak in really fast. Every once in a while a drop will get away from me. But I'm being careful not to waste this liquid gold.

I'll post in another week or so with updates.

Blessings,

~Lilbelle
