No Hrt and Abnormal Bone Density Scan

Hi All - I haven't been on my HRT since October. I feel wonderful - No hot flashes, headaches, ect. I have even been able to lose a little weight. I went to my GYN last month for my yearly exam and he ordered a bone density scan since I wasn't taking the hormones. I just heard from them this morning and they said it came back abnormal. I'm only 38 and I really don't want to go back on the hormones. Has anyone else had this problem? I go to the gyn Friday morning. I would really like to "arm" myself with as much information so I don't get forced into anything I don't want to do. By the way, the way they did the test was with ultrasound on my arm. Any suggestions and advice will be gladly taken.

Thanks for the time.
