Surgery Less than one week

Wendy, I too had ovarian cysts. They would grow and rupture. man....were they painful. My surugery ended up taking more than 3 hrs. I had cysts everywhere in there. One attached to my pelvic bone, one attached to my bowel. I have always had back pain and now at 7 wks post-op I feel pretty good. No I feel great. I have been going to the chiropractor for about 3 wks between walking hunched over for weeks and laying around a lot, i didn't notice the improvement right away. Good luck hope all goes well for you. ((((hugs))))

Thank you for your reply. I agree with you about being out of pain--I had my pre-op appointment today and my gyn feels fairly certain that my neuropathy will go away after the surgery. I will definitely keep you posted and wishing you the best on your surgery next week.

Surgery Less than one week

Hey Redwing!
Where are you in Michigan? I'm a U of M graduate and my mom is here in Alabama from Ann Arbor to help me out for the next couple of weeks. Glad you're doing so well.

good luck

To all of you who are facing surgery this week...good luck!
We will all be thinking of you. I am 10 days from TAH/BSO and a bladder sling'/repair. I was in the hospital for 5 days
and am recovering slowly due to complications but all in all
cannot believe how quickly my body has been healing. It
is truly amazing to think how I felt last week and how I feel now. We will be praying for you.......and anxious to hear how you are.
