G-Spot ??????

I have a question that has been bothering me since before my sx, does anyone know if we lose any sensation in finding the G-Spot during sexual intercourse? I have been very attuned to my body and what I can do with that (as is my DH), but I also haven't had sex in a year, and now that I have had my TAH/LSO, five weeks ago! Now I am terrified that I won't be able to achieve my goal like before. My DH is looking forward to the time when things can get back to normal (no he's not pushing it, yet), and I have almost gotten used to not having it at all. Any suggestions? Scared!

G-Spot ??????

Hello Good question. Most women who have abdominal hysts do not lose the sensation from the G spot (if they could feel it before the surgery - not everyone can). However, sometimes it can happen if nerves are damaged -- this is more common with vaginal procedures, especially where anterior repairs are involved.

I did lose sensation in mine for a while after my hyst because the anterior repair incision went right through it. However, by a year post hyst, the sensation had largely returned, as the nerves regenerated.

I hope this helps.
