did you get a choice?

I was given a choice too. I had problems for 2 years with periods every 2-3 weeks and bad cramping. Doctors where I lived at the time said it was just because I was turning 30 and going through a new phase of my life. But then I moved and got a new doctor who is much better. We tried birth control pills to control my periods, but that didn't work. He then told me that I probably had adenomyosis and that I could either have a D&C or the hyst. After some research, I decided on the hyst since if I did have the adeno, then I would have to have a hyst anyways to get rid of it. I ended up having adeno and endo really bad and a twisted tube. My uterus was tilted and twisted too from two previous c-sections.

It was the best thing that I could have done. I don't regret for a minute having the hyst. I already had two boys and will have two step-sons soon too. My family is complete and I'm feeling much better now.

Good luck with your decision!
