3 1/2 mths post op and having pain?

I am 3 1/2 months post op and and I have been having stabbing pains in my overie area and when my hubby and I have sex I hurt on the inside just like I did before I had a partial hysterectomy. I also have been having crapping feelings like Im gonna start my period or something. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Or has anyone else done this? Thanks for any info. Amanda

3 1/2 mths post op and having pain?

amandalp,
Sorry you are going through a rough time. Have you talked to your doctor about your situation? I sometimes have a tender belly the day after sex but it is nothing that I can't live with and I am sure it will get better with time. Check with your doctor, see if this is normal. Maybe he or she can help.

3 1/2 mths post op and having pain?

amandalp, I had my hyst nov. 21 - kept one ovary, and just had to see my gyn this week for terrible pain (on side of remaining ovary). turns out that I have 2 small cysts that have formed already - gyn told me that size of cysts is irrelevant - they all hurt like crazy! I had internal ultrasound and they could see the cysts right away - am told that they are simple cyst and should go away (I hope!). Also, this week for the first time I felt real pms/crampy feelings - so bizarre. so, yes, I'm going through the same feelings and just saw my gyn who says everything is normal. hope you feel better soon! do you still get swelly belly in afternoons? I do...unfortunately........

Hi amandalp

it's time to call your doctor to find out what's causing your pain. It could be your ovaries cycling if you're having PMS (or PNS - pre-nothing syndrome!) symptoms or something else. Your doctor is the best to assess your situation.

Please let us know what you find out.

I am having a similar pain (not from sex though). I called Dr. office on Tuesday and he called right back. Did some lab work and I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what our diagnosis are.
I honestly didn't think I'd ever have to have another ultrasound, where you drink 5 millions gallon of water and don't get to pee for an hour. Boy, I can hardly wait...
