My Doctor called... again

My doctor calls me once a week to check on my progess. It just occured to me that she is the first one that has ever done that for me. Is this common now? Anyone else getting this kind of service?

My Doctor called... again

My doc's nurse has called once, a couple days ago. I'd rather talk to her because he did her hyster a few years ago and she knows more of what I'm going through anyway.

My Doctor called... again

No, my doctor totally abandoned me after the surgery. When I went for my 6 week check up she was in such a hurry and dismissed my questions as if I was wasting her time. Needless to say I "fired" her. (in my own mind) I am now seeing another doctor in the same clinic.
You are lucky to have such a caring doctor!

My Doctor called... again

Donna, I guess we must be the luckiest. My Gyn is wonderful, I've said it so many times on this board that the other sisters must be sick of me saying it. I have had a few complications, my surgery was 7 months ago and he called me weekly or every other week for at least the first 5 months. He has given me his home phone and cell phone numbers in case I need to reach him when he is off. He has contacted a specialist half way across the country to discuss my case with him and he is even traveling to another hospital two hours away to assist the Uro/Gyn with my surgery next month.
I feel very blessed to have him as my Dr.

You DO have a caring Doctor! That is great! I thought I was lucky to have a Doc who came to see me 3 times/day while I was in the Castle... no phone calls, though! I do have a direct line to his nurse which is nice... and they tell me to call for anything. That's great that you girls are getting taken care of that way!
