Changed my Date

Hi Ladies-

I changed my Hysterectomy date to April 12th, I posted about being worried about the possibility of moving 5 weeks after surgery, well Dh was offered the Job in Illinois and we will be moving at the begining of June so I called my Dr this morning and she agreed that moving the surgery up 2 weeks would be better if not for only my peace of mind..
So now I just have a little over 2 weeks till surgery and I am scared to death but know this is the right thing to do and I will be grateful when it is all said and done...

Lucky us.We have surgery on the same day.I am getting scared too,just trying to kepp myself busy..Good luck...

tread, we can do this.. I know I will get more scared as time goes by, I am even trying talking myself out of this but I know I need this and it will make me better..

Congrats on the new date. You'll do great and likely relieved that you have extra time to heal. Best wishes.

It's great you were able to move your date. Moving would have been rough at 3 weeks out. I hope your sugery and recovery are smooth and uneventful.

thank you all, I feel so much better about it now... The only bad thing about this date is DH will be in a class all day and cannot get out, so a friend will take me and he should be there when I am out.. I knew this changing my surgery but knowing I had a few extra weeks was so worth it..

Pringles, this is a good thing! Glad you changed your date, you want this overwith!!!!!!!!

And just think, less time to worry about the surgery too! When I finally made the decision to go ahead with the surgery, mine was scheduled just 2 weeks away. I can't imagine having to wait months like some of you ladies have. And hopefully, when your surgery is over you'll be able to say "why was I so worried?!"
