Hormone Question

Hi all,

I am almost six weeks post opp

So far I seem to not need any hormone help. Now, I don't know if it would be something that I should be able to tell for myself or my doctor needs to tell me.

You see, I have adrenal hyperplasia and it caused me not only to not be able to have children, but to go into full blown menopause at my age of 32!! I was having the hot flashes the cramps, you name it. Do you think that because I was in menopause, that my body won't need hormone replacement now? I would really like to never have to take anything, but I do know that I need to keep on top of these things.

Please let me know if any of you have any suggestions.

Thanks!!!!

Hormone Question

I started the menopause at 36 but only finally had the hysterectomy this year at 45! You will need something to support your bone mass. The commonest is oestrogen, but there are various alternatives. This is really important because otherwise you are at risk of osteoporosis.

Best of luck with it.
