Today has been good (kids mentioned)

After reading some other posts about spending time with loved ones before the trip to the castle, I decided that I cleaned house as much as I needed to yesterday, so I dedicated today to my 15 year old step DD and took her to get a massage ( I got one too, boy did it feel good! ) Tomorrow is my DD's (8) day. We are going to see a movie and have a nice lunch together. I also have a 4 year old DS, but he would rather watch a television show at home with Mom than go anywhere. I figure that I have the rest of my life to clean, but the little one's grow up so fast.

Good for you, Cantwait! I think you made a great choice. You are so right-little ones grow up way too fast. I still can't believe I'm a grandma, of a 3yo to boot! Time flies and housework keeps. hehe--never seen anybody 'threaten' to take away the housework! lol
