Oh Bye Bye, I had a good laugh at the uterus cake, make sure to take photo's.
We could have some fun here, what else could you serve. I was thinking meatballs as Fibroids
Any other suggestions?

Having a going away party for my uterus!!!

GREAT Idea ermostaf

I wish I had thought of that since my DH wouldn't even take me out to dinner 2 nights before. I would have really enjoyed a girls night out.

I would really like to see a pic' of the uterus cake also. One of our RN's @wk made a cake for one of our ENT Dr's. It was in the shape of a big nose, a couple of SX intruments w/some nasty looking stuff coming out of the holes. It was delicious though.

czardas Maybe buritos as the Cervix

Enjoy your party ermostaf

Having a going away party for my uterus!!!

I had my bye bye uterus party last nite and I highly recommend it! It was just me and one close friend but we had a blast. And since she has these monsterously long visits from Aunt Flow I gave her my left over pads! She thought it was great! And it turned out to be the brand she uses! I have only lived here for 5 years, work in male dominated office (i am the only girl) so I have more aquaintances than "friends" and never had a lot of gf's so just the two of us was great for me. It was a real good release. Oh my doc said a glass of wine before 6 the evening before surgery is ok. So hopefully I will be done with prep by 5 and soaking in a hot bubble bath with my glass.
to the all ladies with upcoming trips to the castle!

Hmmm...since we missed a Goodbye Party, maybe we'll have a welcome back party! (A co-worker is having her hyst 3 days before mine, and we have another co-working out on workman's comp who may be coming back when we do.) Thanks for the idea and have fun at your party!!

Having a going away party for my uterus!!!

Have a wonderful time at your parties! What a fantastic idea! It's my 10 yr wedding anni on the 4th May and I go into the castle on the 7th, so I'm planning a meal with my dh Maybe I could get the local restaurant to do me a uterus cake?! How about meringue nests (for the ovaries) filled with cream and dotted with marshmallows (for the cysts)...erm...OK that was gross..I take it back.. Take care and have a blast

What a wonderful idea! I wish I would have thought about that. That sounds like something DH would have sprung on me. (He's got a wierd twisted sence of humor too.)
