Anyone out there with endometrial hyperplasia

I've seen a lot of discussion on endo (don't have), fibroids (have a fleet) and prolapse (got that too), but not on endometrial hyperplasia. Am scheduled for TAH, but will hear today or tomorrow about my endometrial biopsy. Understand that hyperplasia can be a precancerous condition.

ANy info appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone out there with endometrial hyperplasia

Len,

Hello, I also had endometrial hyperplasia ....... I didn't know this until AFTER my surgery. My pathology report showed adenomyosis, endometriosis, fibroids and endometrial hyperplasia. I was told that endometrial hyperplasia could be a precancerous condition, but isn't always.

Here are some links to info that I found on endometrial hyperplasia.

I hope this provides you with more information.

thanks

Thanks Lisa and Donah

Checked out your links, Lisa. The doc's office called to schedule my pre-op appointments today and I asked if the biopsy was back. The nurse said yes and that the doc would give them to me at my pre-op - next month! Said no, I really can't wait a month. So am awaiting a call with the results.

Thanks again.

good news

Good news! Biopsy showed cancer or pre-cancerous changes.

Doesn't make any difference on WHETHER I'm having surgery, but it sure is nice not to have to worry about that!

Got my pre-op appts - one for the doc and one for the hospital for 5/30. Am taking my husband and daughter with me to the pre-op so they can ask their questions first hand.

Thanks for your support.

CONGRATULATIONS!

I am battling with complex atypical endometrial hyperplasia which is a pre-cancerous condition. I am very happy for you and I pray your surgery goes well!
