Pudendal Nerve Entrapment

Sorry,
But how did they find the herinated bowel? is that what you call an enterocele ? i think that I would have that fixed to see if that is causing some of your pain. Did they find it on a xray or CT scan? Sue

I'm curious as to what kind of doctor diagnosed your PNE. Did you look at the PNE site to get background and names of specialists? My local pain management doctor told me he can give the PNE injections, as long as the entrapment is at the distal end (s) of the trapped nerve. I chose to go to Houston because I wanted the testing not just the block. From now on I can go to my PM doctor for injections. I have no regrets for venturing out for a possible diagnosis-even though none of my doctors diagnosed me. They all requested that I get back with them IF I could find an answer. I don't think most really have time to listen to the story. It makes we want to write a book!!

HI,
Really, that sure it the truth!!!! I need to wirite a book too!! Maybe we can write one together.LOL! I was finally diaganosed with PNE by a urogyn in OKC, OK, he is a wonderful doctor who cares and lets you finishs your story and talks to you between visits and I have even had a phone call. There are only 3 in the state, and I am seeing the Chief of Staff now, along with Assoc. Prof at OU. I use a tens unit and see a PT also, but I am going ahead and going to Houston in hopes of returning back to work in the fall, I am a teacher. My youngest in a sophomore at OU and we have spent our life saving in the last 18 months with me not working and having 2 surgeries in Germany. The pain I endured last time, I can't do it very many more times, it is awful!!! I hope to get to Houston in JUNe .
