When did you take a bath?

Of course I've been showering, lol...but how long before any of you took a warm soaking bath? I'll be 4 weeks Monday. When I went to the Dr. 2 weeks ago I forgot to ask. Thanks for anyone who answers. I'm so ready to take a bath, lol

OMG!! I forgot to ask my Doctor too! I would love to have a nice soaking bath. It's only been 9 days for me. I'll call my Doctor Monday morning and see if he approves. I hope he does..

When did you take a bath?

Ihad a lavh on monday, may 8th. On thursday the 11th, my dr told me it was ok to bathe and that it would help with the pain. I haven't been brave enough to actually take one yet, it seems too early.

When did you take a bath?

I forgot to ask my doctor. I will see him on Tuesday so I will ask then. In the mean time, I worked up enough courage to take my steri strips off(today) and have been taking very warm showers. The warm water feels good on my back. I am nervous about my post op appt on Tuesday. Not sure what to expect.

When did you take a bath?

I had a TVH and the doc told me 4 weeks and I also could douche. I am 6 weeks yesterday and only needed to douche once. I have taken I think 3 baths---going it slow yet. Hope that helps.

When did you take a bath?

I had TAH last Monday (May 8th), got out of the hospital on Wednesday the 10th and was told I could take a bath immediately. Haven't tried it yet, as I don't think I could get up and down out of the tub, just showers so far.

When did you take a bath?

Do talk to your dr about what is right for you. Different drs have different procedures. My gives a flat out "no bathing for 6 weeks," even though I had the LAVH.

No baths for 6 weeks after my VH. I will assume since I am still bleeding he will not realease me to take them at that time either and I would love to soak in some epsom salt!
