Six mths post-op and still not healed!

I'm gutted. I didn't think this was possible, but at least I now know why intercourse still hurts after all this time.
I had to see my GP on an unrelated matter and asked him how much longer it would be and he said I should have been ok by 3 mths.
Back to my Surgeon who verified granualation (unhealed tissue) again and says if it isn't healed in 2wks I will have to go back into hospital!! He says he will remove the tissue and re-stitch, but thought of another op after all this time is quite upsetting.
I've been feeling great, expect for this annoying problem during sex. Dr can't really say why it is taking me so long to heal, as there are variables. I just wish I wasn't one of the minority who suffer from this.

I can't even imagine how difficult this would be. Hope it heals on its own! Take care...
