Any Appointments This Week?

Well, I guess you can add me to the list this week.
On Monday I will have bloodwork and then on Friday I have my 3 month check with onc/gyne and then off to chemo #4 as long as blood work turns out good.
Am hoping that my ca125 number continues to go down.
To everyone else having appointments this week I wish you all good results.

First, how do we add our appts to the calendar?

Second, on the 8th I have my second (4th week) post-op appt with the gyne-onco. I hope to clear up some of the questions about radiation/chemo with her.

I also have my pre-op appointment on wednesday, very nervous. I have spend all this weekend preparing for the surgery (June 13th), buying frozen foods to keep everyone happy at home and cleaning the house. I am not one to stay still so I figured if there is nothing to do I'll be less likely to move after surgery. This is one of the best web sites I have found. Thank you.

Me, Me! I have an appointment w/my gyn/oncologist on Monday 6/5. It's my 3-month check up, but also my 2-year anniversary check actually hyster/cancerversary date is June 8th. So...going in w/a low low ca-125 number; hoping for no surprises!

good luck Rosalie, Duckie and Vega...may your appointments and treatments go well.

How did your Friday appt go? Did you get good info from the rad/onc?

To get your appointment on the calendar, you PM one of the Cancer Concerns hostesses. Jeanine, peggiesue, basketnut or myself. We then make a list of these and then one of the hostesses starts a weekly thread for our Cancer Concerns sisters having appointments.

You can find the information on this Sticky at the top of the Cancer Concerns forum.

Any Appointments This Week?

Hey Jane, thanks for that info!

Genie, welp I ended up leaving the appt without seeing the radiation/onco. The man INSISTED that he HAD to do an internal. Since my gyne/onco hasn't done one, and since I'm still having healing pains there...I said no. He told the nurse if I don't have an internal he can't give a consult, he wouldn't even come into the room! I rescheduled witha female doc (his director)for the 12th....after I see my gyne/onco. If she again doesn't do an internal I'll ask her if it's ok to have one done, if she tells me to wait, I'll reschedule. Needless to say, I was a little ticked off....I posted more about it in that long thread....

Best of luck to everyone. May the treatments go smoothly and side-effect free and the follow-ups be filled with nothing but good news!

I have my 3rd chemo scheduled for Thursday.
