Hi Collie,

Sorry I don't have an answer for you but wanted to let you know, you are not alone. I am about 1 month behind you (surgery dates), and I am having the same problem. Especially over the last two days, my stomach is really swollen and it is very hard. I had IBS before my surgery, but haven't had problems since. I am fairly regular now that I eat Activia yogurt every day. Not sure why all of a sudden my belly is so big and so hard. I have also had swelly belly come and go since my surgery, but it was usually pretty soft, this is hard and very uncomfortable. I hope someone comes along with an answer for us. At least I can let you know you are not alone.

I just want you to know that i am having the same thing. i had my vaginal hysterectomy in February still have both of my ovaries and tubes. I had my surgery because of a severe prolapse. After the surgery i still spot every month, when i questioned my doctor he informed me that he did what was medically necessary to resolve my problem whatever that means. every month my stomach is getting bigger and harder. I called my doctor and the nurse informed me that it has nothing to do with my surgery. they will not even see me until my followup appointment July 11th. I want you to know that you are not alone. i am very miserable and my daily activity has not changed so i dont know why this is happening. if you find out something please let me know because my doctor will not even see me.
