Hi i had my results from my cervix and uterus, they sent it away after my hysterectomy. They could not find anything wrong with it.... so why did i have all that terrible pain and bleeding and clots??? I feel like a bit of a fraud now, when all of you other ladies had some really bad problems to have a hysterectomy, i hate knowing that they can never tell me what was wrong, there must of been something!! Well I have not been able to speak with my doc in detail about what was found yet. I remember him telling me I had adhesions on my colon, then my pathology report showed a bunch of stuff. I was so loopy on painkillers the brief moment he came to see me on discharge day, I couldn't form a proper question, I was just ready to go home. All you have there is the pathology report. If you had adhesions, for example, those wouldn't be sent off to the pathologist. You'll most likely see more information on the operative report. Of course, talk to your doctor too. Don't feel like a fraud. It's not as if anyone decides to have a hyst for giggles. I hope you find out what was causing your pain, bleeding, & clots soon.

Hi Tracey,
My pathology report didn't give me much in the way of answers either. A little bit of this, a little bit of that...nothing remarkable.

My DH made an interesting observation last night. He said that pre-op I exhibited a definite systemic imbalance. Something about me that was completely off kilter--whether that was the drain on my system from blood loss, pain, sleep, whatever, he couldn't say. He observed that, while I am still fatigued from surgery, he could tell that I am now markedly improved. He further noted that once the fatique goes away there will be little to stand in my way in doing whatever I want, and that is probably going to be threatening to some.

Power to the punctured princesses!
