Vacuuming, NOT! Too funny

Well I'm almost 3 weeks post op on Wed. I couldn't stand the dirty carpets any longer so I thought I would just do a little and be careful. It's like I should have known better because someone knew I didn't need to be doing that. In the middle of doing just a little bit that grew to be more then a little, my vacuum shut off! What I thought, maybe a breaker or something, plugged it in another plug in, still nothing. It overheated! It came back on in 2 minutes only to shut off again!
Now the really weird thing is I was thinking of getting an Oreck since they are lighter and better machines anyways. As luck would have it, QVC has a deal today where you can buy anything and do 5 easy payments! So, my princess self placed an order for a new vacuum that will arrive in a week or so when I can vacuum!
Now I don't know but I'm beginning to think our HysterSisters tell us not to do this stuff and then if we do, they have a way to stop us!!!!
Too Funny! But at least I got some dirt up and yes, my tummy is sore from doing it but oh, it looks so much better and I got to do some home shopping too!

Vacuuming, NOT! Too funny

The vacuum gods have spoken!! That is pretty funny. I have the Oreck and it does a great job--have seven animals so it does super duty. Fortunately vacuuming is the one chore dh likes to do, so still haven't had to vacuum. If I could just teach him how to dust. He likes to put blue shop towels on all the furniture like doilies after he dusts so it doesn't get more dust on it. Not my idea of interior decorating, if you get my drift. Take it easy, the dirt doesn't go any where, it'll be there when your body is ready to vacuum. Thanks for the laugh.

have used an oreck from week 5 and have been fine but do be careful and DON't move the furniture unless you can train the dog to help!
