baby and I -both home from hospital

June 23 (at 35wks) a 6#4oz baby boy was born c-section I followed that up by a 5 hour extensive hysterectomy (68 lymph nodes were dissected or removed-along with my ovaries).

I am happy to report Little man (very fuzzy) came home 10 days later, I came home 4 days.

My pathology showed no sign of disease (the chemo did its job!!)

I still can't pee (15 days out) and have alot of numbness in my thighs, buttocks and groin. But I will figure that out. Just happy to get to some normalcy for awhile (okay I am still on vicadin, but hopefully I can go without in a few days).

The Dr even wants to remove my portacath!!!!

Annabel, that is just incredible. I'm so happy for all your good news and now - relax, heal and enjoy your new baby (I know - relax and baby don't usually belong in the same sentence

You've been so strong through all this and now you can get on with your new life.

Hugs to both of you!
