Radiating pain from incision area to pubic area...anyone else?

I just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing I am. I get this sensation of pulling and pinching where the internal stitches must be that radiates down to the pubic area (right below where my incision is and where the pubic hair is). It's the strangest sensation because when I press on the area it doesn't hurt at all. I wonder if it's the nerve endings? Anyone else feel this too? Thanks.

Your pain sounds a bit similar to my experiences. I can feel pain just above my bone when I gently press on that area though.
Have you had any sharp ones at your cervical area?

hi cmarie...I would say I have sharp pain but I definetly can feel twinges from time to time. Is this just part of the healing process? I took a walk last night and wonder if I might have overdone it (but I really didn't go that far). When I press on different areas I don't have pain which is what made me think it's the nerves? I'm hoping someone will come along and give us some insight.

Hi giggles~I love that~sure have been giggling ALOT since this surgery.
Yes the twinges are real and are very disconcerting but I think they are all part of our healing process. I try to have my little pillow even when walking around. Maybe you did go to far walking last night so just take it easy on yourself.. :-) My son needs to 'babysit' me..I think he loves giving the 'orders'.
I agree that it's probably nerves healing ...the shock our bodies are recovering from. take care, cmarie
