Hi loveandhugs,

This site is a life saver, both for its information content and for the emotional support. In the weeks leading up to my surgery it wasn't so much that I didn't have anyone to talk to, but I didn't feel like talking to anyone about this. I told very few people about my surgery, and perhaps because of that, I especially appreciated this web site. I felt connected to other women who understand. I hope that you are able to select a few good friends to talk to and to ask for suppport in the days before and weeks following your surgery.

All the best to you as you prepare for your surgery and I pray for your speedy recovery.

Karen

we are here for you!

I understand where you are coming from and this site is the most wonderful support group I have found. Don't hesitate to voice questions or concerns - someone out there will have been there too. I don't think that your boss can say how long you can be out...do you have short term disability? I'm thinking of you and know that I am going through the same things...I'm a worry wart too!
