Surgery Postponed !!!

Well,it happened:my surgery has been postponed.My doctor's office called this morning to tell me that due to an unforseen event,I would need to reschedule my surgery.Weird,because this happened with my LEEP/Cone as well!! Two time's?! Geez.The good thing is I did not have to do a bowel prep,but all of the preparing! Well,maybe it will not be too long that I have to wait.

I wondered why when you replied, I glanced over to see the date of surgery and you had none!!!! My nerves are shot and the bowel prep/colon cleanse is going kind of slow for me! I guess I can't complain right now. I'm sure it's a coming! My thoughts will still be with you and hope that soon it will be over for you as well. In the mean time, relax and take good care.

Aw, I'm sorry that you have the added stress of being postponed.
I hope that you won't have to wait long to get another date. Maybe you shhould use some of the extra time to practice some "pre-pampering". Do something nice for yourself - ya know, that movie that you'd like to see, a comfy pair of jammies, a long soothing bubble bath. Whatever you enjoy

That really ***** eggs! I was worried yesterday when my Witch Doctor of an endocrinologist was causing problems if mine might get postposed and how in the world I would deal with it. I feel so badly for you! I don't think I could deal with the week preceding twice. I know DH would probably leave me.

oh goodness,i am so sorry..im sure it must be very hard to be all planned for this surgery,get things prepared,then find out you have to do it all over again at a different time...keep your head up,your time is coming,and will be here before you know.....hang in there...sonie

That sux, hang in there! Mine is scheduled 8/1 and I would not want it cancelled, enough anxiety as it is. I'm nervous because I had a bad case of bronchitus a few weeks ago, my lungs were blocked so I am hoping when I go in for pre-testing everything is cleared to go. I have completely been dosing up on vitimins and neurtic about cleaning my home and work environment, I do not want to get sick just before surgery, they tell you to avoid being around anyone sick two weeks prior so I am crossing my fingers that 8/1 happens.

I feel for you. I was cleared at my pre-op and then had surgery post-poned due to waking up the next morning with strep throat. I was SO upset, just having had everything prepared and then having to wait had me frazzled. Hugs from me and let me know if there is anything that I can do!

I am so sorry for you.... You are such a good support to the ladies here! I am here for you if you need me. Don't worry....time does fly.... Originally I thought I was getting a date of June 30th for my surgery, and then was told by my doctors' office it would not be until July 14th... I was so upset...but the time came and went so fast.... Here I am already 5 days post-op.... I will pray for you to not be anxious..... Take care let us know.
