Vaginal Discharge Question

Hi Hystersister,

I have Endo and had my uterus and cervix removed in 2001 and eventually both ovaries removed in 2003. Since the removal of both I've had vaginal discharge. Not everyday it comes and goes. I've never spoken to a doctor about this becasue I assumed it was normal. There's no funny odors and it's relatively light, but it's a nuisance.
I've schedule an appointment to see my doctor only because I mention this problem to a friend and was told that this is'nt normal. Have anyone ever experience anything like this or heard of this before. I thought I was fine and things was just as they were before the surgeries. Before it was brought to my attention that I no longer have any reproductive organs and I shoudn't have any discharges. Please help me before I make a complete idiot out myself in front of my doctor.

Thank you

Vaginal Discharge Question

Have you been able to see your dr and ask your questions? Any time you have symptoms you are unsure about, you should feel free to ask your dr. That is what they are there for.

I do have discharge at times but I also have my ovaries, so my situation is different than yours. Your vagina though is designed to "self cleanse" so this could be what you are experiencing.

Do keep us posted on how you are doing and what your dr says!
