Body wrap

I have read some posts here about it. I sent away for it but I had to send it back, wrong size. Now I am waiting for the right one to come. Can anyone tell me how this garment has worked for them?

I haven't personally used one, but have seen comments over the months from others who have. I have seen nothing but positive comments.

Good luck,

Thank you Paula

I can't wait until I get mine. It does sound like it will hurt like hell though. Are you getting Swelly belly still?

Body wrap

I adore mine--I STILL wear it on days when I know I will be up and about for a long time, or more active, or just having bad swelly belly. I do not recommend wearing it all the time, nor for very long stretches (I gave myself a 4 hour limit) and definitely not at night (cuts off circulation). It feels great, spuportive, firm, keeps pain away.

Golly, I don't knw the precise term--this is a medical garment that I think I got off a link from this site, that was pretty expensive ($70) and that is heavy elastic, like a very heavy ace-bandage, but white, and with three wide sections, each of which having a velcro strap or band on the end, where it wraps around you, and you pull each section adjustably tight and secure it with the velcro. The great thing is that my lower ab and middle, below the navel, are more painful, and above the navel is not, so this thing lets me make it tighter on the two bands below and looser above. I can't recall the name of the company (starts with an M I think) but I will look and if I find it I'll put it here.

OK I found it! It is called a surgical garment, and it did come from a link off this site, a link to MARENA company, and the one I got was the "abdominal binder 3s3" but there are others there that also look good. Look under unisex garments or abdominal binder. Good luck!

Oh my gosh

Anne, your garment sounds like the thing Rose's mother was trying to tie her body in, in the film Titantic. All the best to you in your recovery.
