Sitting ?

Okay, ladies...got a weird question for everyone and it's taken me awhile to get the courage to ask...How do you sit? Is it just me or ? When I sit down in a chair - any kind - I have to have my legs spread like a guy would sit. If I don't, my belly which is still very swelly and sore, gets squished so much that it hurts actually really pretty bad. I can't even make a lap anymore for my cat to sit on ...is this normal or am I just so huge that....oh, what's the use! (I was overweight to begin with, but this is just ridiculous). I am so overjoyed that I won't ever have a period again, but now I am even more "depressed" about my weight...more than before I had the surgery...

Don't cry, it does get better I'm still really swollen at nite and yes sit like a man, I burp and fart like one too, haha!
I weigh 5lbs more at nite than I do in the morning and it's all on my swelly belly! Still it looks better almost normal when I wake up. The doc told me today it can take 6 months to go right down.

Sitting ?

I'm not having too much trouble sitting...even with an already fluffy belly. My problem is that I can't really sit up straight because the fluffy belly puts too much pressure on the incision site.

Sitting ?

Me too! I went to church last weekend and had to prop one of my legs over DH to get comfy, the other on my pillow. It sounds pretty funny now that I write it down (lol).

Smile and big hugs,

Renda

Yep... I'm sitting like that too. Too much belly and not enough lap. At least before I felt like I could "suck it in" but now it's just blah! out there.

Sitting ?

I sit funny or with my feet up, even at work sort of elevated. It gets better but i still have swelly at night.

That's how I sit too. I either have to be on the edge of a chair with my legs spread wide or sitting back at a slight angle as if I were 9 months pregnant. I can't bend in that area yet.
