ovarian cancer IIc, taxol, carboplatin 1 down 5 to go!

I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow to install a port into my pelvic area for chemotherapy. I will also get a dose intraveneously. I should be home late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Brighton, I'll say a prayer for you that everything goes well tomorrow!

I have my second internal rad this week. I'm already getting nervous thinking about how things went last week. Trying to stay focused on just getting it over with.

Our current "official" appointments calendar sister Lori is tending to her DH and as I was about to start our weekly appointments thread noticed Sandee beat me to the draw. It is wonderful how really supportive you CC gals are to each other
We received one appointment notification this week.
Kristy53 is having a bilateral removal of an ovarian cyst and ovarian remnant on Friday August 11th.
(((Kristy))) may the cyst removal and ovarian remnant removal go smoothly without any complications and take care of your problem.
(((Brighton))) may the port placement as well as the chemo treatment be easy on you while ousting any nasties.
(((Vega))) hope the second internal rad treatment treatment goes so well you have zero side-effects this time round.

I will be keeping you all in prayer and pls come back to let us know all went well.

Tuesday I am having my 5th internal....I am concerned about it because I am so sore already....just one more to go after that...can't wait!

Good luck to you gals and anyone that posts after me since this is the last time I will look at this until I get back on Wed.

I have my 2nd post-op on friday this week.. end of week 10 on friday!
(and I still have not rang to ask what to expect! hahahaha I did however rang to confirm my appt time today)

I think Kristy's appt is postponed for a week...

I noticed Lori has currently and quite rightly got her attention centered on her DH at the moment ( s to Lori and her DH). Not wanting to step on any toes , I wanted to try and jump in and offer a little "unofficial" support to everyone this week. I personally am still recovering from my first cycle and have no "expected" appointments this week. Vega, Brighton, Sutherland, laalaa, kjay, and anyone else with appointments

I've gotten word from Lori that Sugar 4 will have chemo on Thursday.
(((Sugar4))) I hope the chemo continues to knock out any nasty cells but is easy on your body.
