Two ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures - they'd even had hysterectomies the same week. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

One day they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me. I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name. I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is?"

Her friend glared at her. For several minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"

Sounds like they need their HRT checked!

It Doesn't Change Much

I am 14 months post-op and although I feel pretty good physically, my brain fog comes and goes. Sometimes it is obvious, sometimes it is retrospective in nature of realizing that I am not as sharp as I used to be.

Bad thing is that my boss has mentioned that I am not as sharp as I used to be. Terrific. I am a paralegal in a busy law office. I found that since my hyst, my job has been more stressful and I struggle to juggle all of the details I must keep in my head.

That is something we have to live with, I guess. I started taking ginsing in hopes that my mind will be able to quicken with some herbal help.

(or maybe it is because I have two kids that just graduated from the Univ of AZ last week, one graduating from high school next week, and one getting married next week ... and all that goes with that ... plus me getting married at the end of this year!)

Anyway, my philosophy is to not focus on the brain fog, but it is a reality. I will let you know if the ginsing helps.
