So I am wondering this....

I had my biopsy and blood tests (tumor markers) and they came back good!! , however this is what I am wondering. I know that ovarian cancer is hard to detect and by the time you begin to have symptoms it is serious, so is it possible that in the very beginning stage of ovarian cancer the blood will not show anything if the cancer cells are in the very middle of the complex cyst and if so will they detect it once it is removed? (Does this question make sense??)

So I am wondering this....

Hi RunnerT...looks like you posted it in the right place to Anyway, I don't have any answers for your question...I currently an having problems with my right ovary as well, had an ultrasound yesterday showing 7 "cysts" and double the size of my left ovary. He gave me a hormone shot and I will have another scan in 6 wks and if no improvement, will have a CA125 test. So I hope someone will be along soon to shed some light for you, I am interested to hear as well. Good luck!
