Anyone that has gone back to work or school.

I know there was a post for teachers a few weeks ago, but I am a college student. I started back to classes today and an really sore and my vaginal area hurts. I am 6 weeks today also. I have an extreme swelly belly. I talked to my professors and they said I could bring a pillow to sit on because the chairs hurt really bad. I thought I was done with the pain. Is that normal? I do not want to sound whiny or complain but I thought everything was going to be better. I only go three days a week and plan to rest the other days and after school while studying. I got home today and could not even cook supper because it hurts to stand. I have a dr. appt in the morning and have a tons more questions for him. Any advice on how to handle classes and after will be greatly appreciated.

I know that sitting in meetings nearly drove me crazy--I would get up and lean against the wall sometimes just to move. Also, can you prop your feet up somehow? another chair? Also, take some ibuprofen when you go to class.

hang in there.....

Thank you Bookbabe. No I can not prop my feet up in class. All of my classes are full. There is barely room to breath in the rooms. I do eat lunch at 12 and can prop my feet up in the cafeteria for thirty minutes. I take anything for relief. I took Tylenol before class and it did not help. I will try ibuprofen tomorrow.

hmmm....what about aisle seat so you can at least stretch your legs? Might be hard if the classes are that full.

My dr said the ibuprofen products help with the swelling so he keeps telling me to take those. I'm not sure I agree but I'm like you, I'm taking whatever I can get at this point! Are you having to walk a long way to class? That bothers me still.

take it easy!
