PMS symptoms and hormone issues

A few weeks ago - 3 to be exact - I posted about extreme PMS pain. Then, a few weeks later, I described symptoms including dizzyness, brain and "wooshy" feeling that all point to hormonal imbalance.

Well, I finally booked a doctor's appointment and I'm seeing him next Friday.

Since my PMS symptoms are getting closer, I am really starting to believe that I am now peri-menipausal. I resumed the Black Cohosh that was suggested by my doctor, when my ovaries went on strike in January. 1 day and I'm already feeling better - no today!!

Since it seems like I will end up on HRT, I am wondering if I should head for the jungle? I want to be informed when I head for the Dr's office.

Hey there...

Read all the stuff at the HJ and check out Dr. Lee's "What your doctor may not tell you about perimenopause". I don't rely on his solutions conclusively, but his descriptions are pretty right on.

Thanks, Adrite, I will do that.

In my case, there are so many issues to factor in in my family's medical history, I want to know what I need to point out: there's breast cancer, ovarian cancer (in fact, lots of cancer, coronary disease and stroke (I'd actually forgotten about the history of stroke).
