What a great place this is. Though I have support from family, this site is very comforting. Two weeks away from surgery, I am getting anxious and scared. I do not let on to my family as I do not want them to worry. Having fibroid tumors, with one the size of a 5 month old fetus; I have been in a lot of pain. So in one aspect, I am looking forward to getting this overwith. I am also not a canidate for HRT due to history of blood clots, so I worry about that. Wishing you all the best and thank you for this special and so needed support.

Thank you. I do have so many questions, but I think it is mostly it just hit me that this is happening. My original surgery date was today, but a biopsy was needed and results won't be in until the end of this week. Having an ovary removed 20 years ago, I am afraid of what I will have to go through. Just the bowel prep has me nervous.

I'm doing the bowel prep right now,so far it hasn't been too bad,my stomach has been a upset but it's calming down now. It's alot when it sinks in that you are actually going to be doing this.I have been keeping myself busy for the last week, but today just trying to rest and take it easy.I hope everything with your needle biopsy comes out ok and I'll keep you in my thoughts.Take care Heather

NewYorker, you are welcome.

It is such a pleasure to offer any kind of emotional support I can as I have benefited so greatly from this site.

This is our own little world where we educate ourselves, laugh, cry and just simply be ourselves with no worries of being judged.

Talk to you next week.
