3-Week Post-Op and Feeling Better

I am 3 weeks from vaginal hysterectomy (removed cervix, uterus, tubes and ovaries). I still have a little discharge going on, and I had one of those "suddent sneezes" yesterday! I had a little light bleeding, but it seems to have stopped. Thanks to the HysterSisters for providing some very helpful and personal information!

3-Week Post-Op and Feeling Better

Hello, NewWoman!

I am glad to hear that your recovery seems to be progressing nicely other than a bit of discharge and light bleeding. Just remember that you are only 3 weeks out from major surgery and still need your rest.

I agree that HysterSisters is the best for providing information and support!

Take care,

3-Week Post-Op and Feeling Better

Hi NewWoman

I had my surgery the same day as yours and am feeling pretty good. I had a TAH (removed uterus and cervix but kept ovaries). I feel that I have been very lucky in that I haven't had any discahrge at all. I know that I could still get some when my stiches dissolve.

It felt very weird last week to not get my period as usual. I kept expecting it (daft I know) as I had PMT like symptoms.
