Thumbs up - Sisters Forever Sisters Forever

I found this site when I did a google search for info on hysterectomies. So glad I did because I had tons of questions. I had a TAH and they took both ovaries to on October 4th, 2006. I'll never forget this experience as long as I live! It has been the greatest thing for me to have finally done, but also the scariest and so far, the most painful thing I've ever experienced. Thank goodness for the Sisters website. I've told all my girlfriends about this site. I even had my hubby come take a look so he could have his questions answered. I've become a big fan of the Swelly Belly Band and pillows! Lots of pillows!! I'm not even 2 weeks post op yet and I know I have been doing things I'm not supposed to be doing, but it's helping me keep my sanity! I don't advise anybody going to Wal-Mart or to the grocery store during the first 2 weeks, but I admit I did it, only to keep my sanity. My husband drove the car and I rode the electric shopping carts when we arrived at the store. Well I did the first time, the other times I walked, but I walked very, very slowly! I mean, I was walking so slow that I was honkerblonking off old people behind me!! Anyway, I love this site, it's a wonderful gift to all women, so thank you HysterSisters!
