Haunted -

Gosh this post thread brought back memories. And all the names of all the sisters whose posts I found so supportive.

I hope your doing better. I am on the mend for a second time and am hopeful this time will resolve everything and I can get my life back.

I want my life back and I am going to take whatever steps neccesary to make that happen.

Someone once said we choose how active of a role we take in our own lives. I'm jumping in head first.

Traumatized and Frightened

Haunted -

Its been an interesting 7 months. Recovery the 2nd time seemed so much more. I swelled like I didn't the first time. I had major hormonal issues. And they stuck around until Fall. Really thought ther solo ovary wasn't going to be enough but now....

Somewhere between Halloween and Thanksgiving, I really started feeling 'mended'. I have several times in the month of January, said 'I'm back'.

I still have some issues. I have a nerve that bothers me some days and occasionally I have pain when ovulating but all in all, it is no longer life limiting just occasionally life affecting.

Best wishes to you,

Julie

I am sorry that you have gone through all this. I think everyone will go through the ups and downs after a hysterectomy. I didn't think I would but I've been on my own pitty potty. Then I read a fellow sister's problems and I'm like boy I thought i had it bad.
This website and all the sisters here was a Godsend to me. I was so afraid before the surgery. I received SO much encouragement and I feel we ALL share a bond from having all gone through something so important together.
Just please hang in there. I am having bladder issues and trying to get through them. I have another Dr. appt tomorrow.
I will be praying for you and for all my sisters!
