Pre-op Hyst possible cancer

Hi Everyone, its been a little while since I've talked to you all, I have some great news. Remember, I am the one who has been having abnormal paps for over 2 years and recently has a leep that showed pre-cancerous cells on the cervix. My doctor gave me a second leep to see if it had gotten any worse so he would know if he should refer me to oncology or do the hyster himself. Well, I finally got the results of my last Leep procedure and it was great news. It showed only residual high grade cells on the surface, the rest was normal. The doctor also took curitage from the inside of the cervical canal and there were no abnormal cells. I am still going to have the hyster, but won't even know the date until sometime in August, but they think it will be scheduled for sometime in October. I just had to share the good news with my sisters. Take care and let me hear how all are doing.

What wonderful news to receive! I'm so happy for you and I'm so glad you shared it with all of us!

Now at least you can enjoy your summer without so much worrying. I'm sorry I missed your earlier question to me I had my surgery almost 14 months ago and after completing two rounds of chemo, am now doing just fine! I plan on continuing to stay that way too!

Please do keep us updated on how you are doing when you can. We'd love to hear from you!

Take care and again, congrats on the great news!

{{hugs}}
