I wore my jeans today!

It was only for a little while and then swelly belly took over but I had them on. I have lost 8 lbs since surgery, which is only a little bit of the 30 I would like to lose, but it is a step in the right direction.

Yeah, good for you! I am looking forward to wearing jeans soon. 8 pounds is definitely a step or 8 in the right direction.

That is great news Kim! Congratulations. I do know how good it feels to be able to slip on a pair of real jeans after not being able to.

You know, it is really strange. I have absolutely no appetite whatsoever. I have always been a big breakfast person and since surgery I have been having an English Muffin. When 12 noon would roll around, I would be the first one in the break room. Now, I haven't been eating lunch. I just am not hungry. Not sure what is up with that but I'll take it for now. When I do get hungry , I try to make sure I am eating something healthy and nutrionally balanced.

It sounds like you're healing up pretty nicely. And weight loss is always welcome around the holidays! I'm scared to step on the scale myself. Too many nummy things within reach.

I can do mine up and wear them about an hour. Then they are so OFF!!!
