More brain fog moments, we all need to laugh!!!

My name is Robin. I called my friend Mary a few days ago. She wasn't home so I left a message. "Hello Robin, this is Mary, give me a call back." I knew what I did as soon as I did it, but what could I do? It was already recorded.

I've already posted on this thread but I had yet another 2 brain fog moments the other day. I was at a bar paying for a drink and I got my make up bag out of my handbag instead of my purse - doh! I also was in the process of heating a meal up and nearly put it in the bin instead of putting it in the microwave.

Well brain fogs are oay unless they hurt things like YOUR FAVORITE SHIRT. stupid stupid stupd. I noticed this morning after getting dressed that my favorite shirt has a couple of stains, so I thought since I was going anywhere important I would treat the stains with a stain stick. I was applying it when the shirt spots began turning white. DUH CLOROX STAIN STICK IS BLEACH stupid stupid stupid.

Funny thing is - I've always figured the brain fog thigns were because I'm blond.....and over 40. It's good to know there's a physical reason for it, not just the blond hair and age....

My daughter and I share the same sense of humor. she hopes to be as funny as me when she grows up! She is 23! Every once in awhile something will strike us as super funny and we can't stop matter where we are! Having a fistula means I know every bathroom within 10 miles of home. It does not mean I always run into the womens room. Though I have "run into" afew neighbors! (male) Then I slowly back off and collapse in laughter at myself...right outside the door! You would think I'd hide in the womens room and do it! But thats too logical for me! lol The weird thing is sometimes someone else can say matter how mundane and it can set me off laughing.
Now the best one is my daughter (who is away at college) calls to tell me that during class today the professors voice cracked......and for whatever reason she couldn't stop laughing. After awhile she calmed down and apologized but then had the prof. and whole class laughing with her. what did she say? "OH MY GOD, I'M TURNING INTO MY MOTHER!!"

Well here's another brain fog moment from me (I think it's the third I posted here - but then I can't remember)! My DH was tidying up his finances the other day and he had a an old premium bond from the post office. I said "why don't you cash that in, you've never won anything on it". He said "you know, I'm getting worried about you; I won £50 about 3 weeks ago and I told you about it". I honestly have no recollection of him saying anything.

Okay I thought that at three months out I would be over this whole brain fog issue. How wrong I was....

I had dropped my daughter off at my friend Cathy's and asked if she needed anything from the grocery store. She asked me to get cat food. I went to the grocery store and later met Cathy and the kids at a basketball game. I didn't even think about the cat food until a few days later. I left work, got in my car, and all of the sudden it dawned on me... CAT FOOD. I called Cathy and asked if she still needed cat food. She said, "No, the cat starved to death, but thanks anyway." Then she started laughing and said, I thought I was the only one who still got brain fog.

Will I ever be "normal" again?

Just dropped the dog off to get fixed. Vet asked if I wanted any pain medications for her afterwards. I told him of course, I know just how she feels. I've been there done that! Then I proceeded to drive home, and asked if anyone fed the dog yet?

i had a brain fog moment reading these posts... the one that said every time they put you out you lose brain cells. well i first read it as "every time you put out you lose brain cells". and my first thought was dang, i had no idea sex could make you stupid! lolol

i've been "fogging" all week. the kids kept asking me questions while i was teaching and i completely forgot where i was. they thought it was highly amusing and started doing it on purpose, the brats. so now i'm making them wait until i'm completely finished before they even raise their hands!

this thread is hilarious, keep them coming!!
