Any trouble with reading?

Has anyone had trouble with reading? I'll swear that a sentence contains a word, but it actually is a similar sounding word, or a word the same length, or a word that begins with the same letter.
The senior pastor at church looked at me really strange when I got the giggles while reading a scripture passage(out loud in front of everybody) in church: so help me, the word "sea" was "sex". I thought the church secretary had made a mistake, but alas it was me. Has happened quite often lately.

Any trouble with reading?

Hi Airlie,

After my surgery I found I just couldn't concentrate on reading no matter how hard I tried it just wasn't being absorbed. LOL I'm usually an avid reader but I've not read a book since my surgery. Maybe I'm too busy playing games of this site to care anymore. I'm sure things will return to normal just give yourself time.

Take care........Karen

Any trouble with reading?

Yep me too.

I thought I would crank out the books during my recovery. No Way! No concentration, no retention, very frustrating.

It is getting better. Some days are better than others.

Take care
