Is the G spot still there???

Hi! Glad to know that I'm not the only one who has tried sex. It is hard to stay away when you've never gone more than a week without in over 15 years of marriage. I've had absolutley no spotting or bleeding since my hyst. and have felt wonderful for the most part. I am like most of you all though, very cautious, and afraid to dive in totally. Wondering if the "G" spot still exists through all of this. I was able to keep my ovaries, no cervix, so haven't had any hormone issues. Does anyone out there know if the "G" is still there after this surgury? I'm afraid to explore just yet, and it is kind of embarasing to ask such a question, but I'm sure many of you are wondering the same thing....?

Is the G spot still there???

Well, I got left with nothing internally...but, and this may be tmi, when my hubby was behind me...g spot seemed to be there! It was always much more noticeable to me when he was behind me. I had had sex with him a few times, somewhat cautiously, but not experienced anything big....finally we got a little more "wild" and there it was! I have even gotten over not feeling the orgasms in my uterus..that was odd at first....They are better than ever and there is NO PAIN! I love it!!!! Have fun finding out! I think we are all a bit different...I'd say we are still headed for even better times! And I am truly looking forward to that!

Still feeling mine as well, although it's not as sensitive as it was before surgery.

It is so cool to be ablt to see that we all have the same concerns....I am no where near being able to have sex being only 11 days out but am glad to see that sex might even be better....That is a concern and it helps to see all the positive....Thanks for the smile....

Is the G spot still there???

I am going to gushhere... As usual for anyone that has read my posts..TMI warning.....

OK The sex has been incredible, I am so happy....first off to not have the pain anymore, second ...orgasms, G spot or otherwise have increased ten fold.!!!! So try things at your own pace and most important try to relax and not over worry about what is going to happen!

Is the G spot still there???

wow -- I thought I was alone in wondering this!!! I came here today to see if anyone else was talking about the issues that are bothering me, and see two of the issues on page one! What a great place this is.

I had vag. reconstruction, which I did not expect, and also wondered if they removed the G-spot. I forgot to ask the Dr. last time I was in.

I haven't had sex yet, even though we're coming up on 8 weeks - each time we planned it I felt unwell, so we postponed.

thanks everyone.

P.S. - someone mentioned above that orgasm was even better now -- I too have experienced this!

Still there!

I had my TVH/BSO one year ago yesterday (my hysterversary!!!) and yes, it's still there, and works better than ever before. I found that sensitivity gradually increased as I healed. Be patient with your body and your hormones. No need to rush anything along...and it's worth the wait!
