Bare Minerals makeup... anyone ever try??

I've never tried it but my DD did on her dermatologist's recommendation. Ther dermatologist said ALL other foundations clog pores and are a no no with acne. She looks great with it on, everyone has commented on how much better she looks.

I use Mineral Basics which is very similar and I absolutely love it!!!!! And its a little less expensive. You can get a 6 piece sampler pack for $14.99...this is an example of their light kit:

6 PIECE KIT!

With light foundation and concealer...for light-toned skin!

1. Light Neutral Foundation (5 grams powder by weight in 20-gram sifter jar...90 day supply! FULL JAR!) ...for light skin with balanced undertones. One of our most popular shades! Achieve great coverage for acne, scars, bruising, veins, rosacea and more, while looking totally natural and flawless! Also provides a natural sunscreen!

2. True Blush- a neutral, dusty rose blush, perfect for just about any skin tone! (5 gram jar)

3. Perfect Tan Bronzer/All-Over Color- a brand new shade! Stunning matte rosy beige...gives skin a wash of natural tan color when used all over face...can also be applied to body or just as blush. My personal favorite shade!

4. Glow- perfect finishing powder that creates a soft, subtle glow all over! (5 gram jar)

5. Finishing Silk- final mineral powder that sets your makeup and gives a flawless, natural finish!! (5 gram jar)

6. Light Complete Cover Sample- a heavy concealer that can be used alone (as a foundation) or for spot-concealing. Has a matte finish and balanced undertones. Helps absorb excess oil. (1/4 teaspoon in baggie)

To keep the mess at bay, put a facecloth under all the containers on your counter. I constantly spill the stuff, but what the heck,it lasts forever. Also, sometimes I use liquid foundation and then put the Bare Minerals on.

I love the Bare Minerals line, I order it from Sephora or I pick it up at the Bare Minerals boutique in San Francisco. It feels so light, and your skin really does look good. Try it!!!!!!

I bought it, used it this morning and LOVE how it looks. My face is blotchy red with sun spots on cheeks and nose from growing up during the 'baby oil' generation.

I noticed, everytime I went to the bathroom at work and looked in the mirror, I NEVER saw any redness on my cheeks today. YIPEE!!!

Day one and LOVING the stuff. Thanks for all your responses ladies.

NOW......... anyone use their lip colors or eye colors?

I do use the eye shadows and the blush, I am very fair skinned and I have found that the various color palettes make it easy for me to find colors that look good on my skin. I do not use the warmth bronzer, it is just too orange/brown for my skin.

I've used it for two years. I can't bear to go back to a liquid foundation now. My skin looks great and I have fewer blackhead than I've ever had in my life. My eczema even went away!

How do you ladies use the "Well Rested"? I used it to cover the dark circles and found it also works great as a concealer for red blotches under the foundation.
