Bare Minerals makeup... anyone ever try??

I've been using it for over a year. I'll never use anything else! I have very sensitive skin that breaks out at the touch of anything, and this is only makeup I have found that doesn't aggravate it or slide off in a pool of oil by the end of the day. I was so happy when I found it!

Bare Minerals makeup... anyone ever try??

A friend turned me on to Bare Minerals about 3 years ago and now every female teacher in our elementary school uses it. We all swear by it. It feels so light and you never get makeup lines. Love the mineral veil too. We all get ours from QVC. There's a Bare Minerals show coming on soon and there is going to be a Bare Escentuals Todays Special Value the first week in April (I think I remember seeing somewhere). Try it, you'll love it!

Bare Minerals is the best make-up I have ever used and I have problem skin with lots of things to cover up! Bare Minerals can cover everything - the trick is to use the proper brush. You can custom mix your own foundation colors for a perfect blend (i.e. if you get a tan on vacation and need a darker color temporarily, and then the tan slowly fades, you can gradually lighten and blend perfectly)

Get a starter kit with the concealer brush, the Kabuki brush, and the blush brush. Experiment with the starter set which usually includes Mineral Veil, which holds the very light make-up in place - all day.

By the way, I DO NOT sell this product or own any part of the company! I just really believe in it. I have been using it for about two years now. It works! (I bought the starter kit and MANY individual pieces on ebay.) Foundation, Mineral Veil, Brushes, Eye Shadow, LipStick, Blushes, etc. - I have been pleased with all of the items I purchased.

Bare Minerals makeup... anyone ever try??

I have to say I LOVE the main products, the minerals foundation and Mineral Veil, but I do NOT like their brushes. I think they are awful and sold each one on eBay. Bristles constantly coming out, having to pick them out, pick off my face etc.... I have a set of goats hair brushes from Arbonne on order. I'll use their brushes with the Bare Esc. makeups :-)

Bare Minerals makeup... anyone ever try??

I have been using Bare Minerals for about 3 months and LOVE IT! The first couple of weeks I started wearing it, my coworkers said my skin was flawless. I have a few blemishes and get the occasional pimple. I like the way the products go on easy. At first, it's hard to gauge how much to use, but after a few days, you'll get the hang of it. I only use the small brush that come with the starter kit. The other brushes are too hard. I bought a set of brushes from Smashbox that really work well

How funny that I should find this! I bought the starter kit about a year ago and put it away. I have no idea why I didn't use it, but I didn't. Two weeks ago I went and had a makeover (my salon was offering them and it included a free facial, so why not!) and the woman used Bare Minerals. I loved the look so I went home and dug it out. I have been using it and am pleased with the results. Today, I was too tired and did not put any on (just mascara, blush and lipstick) and everyone has commented on how tired I look. I am, but I did not think it showed!! Tomorrow, back to the Bare Minerals
